This Privacy Policy explains how FindRW collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile apps, website, and related services. By using FindRW, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We may collect: account details such as name, email address, phone number, and password; profile information you choose to add; listing content including descriptions, photos, prices, locations, and category details; messages, quote requests, and support tickets; favourites and saved searches; device and technical data such as app version, device type, and diagnostics; and location information you choose to provide or that is needed to show nearby results. We do not require access to your contacts to use core directory features.
We use information to create and manage accounts; display profiles and listings; power search, filters, and discovery; enable messaging and quote requests; send service notices such as verification or security alerts; improve reliability and user experience; detect fraud, spam, and abuse; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.
Information you add to a public profile or listing — such as business name, photos, contact methods you choose to publish, location, prices, and descriptions — may be visible to anyone using FindRW. Do not publish sensitive personal information that you do not want others to see. Private account credentials and internal support messages are not shown publicly.
We may share information with service providers that help us host, authenticate, store, analyse, or secure FindRW (for example cloud infrastructure and crash reporting). We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or regulator, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of FindRW, our users, or the public. We do not sell personal information. Public listing content is intentionally shared with other users of the Service.
We use industry-standard providers and safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure. We retain account and listing data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and meet legal or accounting requirements. When you delete an account or listing, we take steps to remove or de-identify associated personal data, subject to backups and lawful retention needs.
If you grant location permission, we may use approximate or precise location to help show nearby listings and improve discovery. You can control location permissions through your device settings. Listings may also include a location or district that the publisher chooses to display publicly.
FindRW is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; update profile and listing details in the app; withdraw optional permissions such as location; and contact us about privacy questions. Account deletion is available in Settings, or you can email infofindrw@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
FindRW may process information using cloud providers that store or process data outside Rwanda. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate contractual and technical safeguards offered by those providers to protect your information.
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site, remember preferences, or understand basic usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The mobile apps may use similar device identifiers for analytics, security, and performance.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of FindRW after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
